The story
Jade Roller is a story of friendship that began 5 years ago between Mei and Thibault. Elle is Chinese and he is French. Passionate about Asian culture, Thibault discovers at Mei, an old family object: the jade facial roller . Fascinated by the stone and the multiple benefits of this beauty tool, they then decided to create Jade Roller .
Manufactured in noble materials, in accordance with tradition, their tools are anchored in age-old rituals of Asian beauty. Combining performance and tradition, they provide beauty and well-being.
Why Jade Roller ?
We called our brand Jade Roller , which translates to “ jade facial roller ” in French, a direct reference to the millennial beauty tool.

Should I use a care before using my tools?
We recommend applying your treatments (serum, cream, oil, etc.) before using the jade facial roller and gua sha to promote glide. In addition, beauty tools will improve the penetration of active ingredients into the skin and boost the effects of treatments.
In order to respond to your request concerning your search for treatments suitable for facial massage, we have developed, with formulation experts and facialists, a range of natural, effective and non-greasy treatments. We therefore advise you to use our Plumping Gel Serum and our Regenerating Face Balm which will be rich in active ingredients.
These treatments are rated “Excellent on Yuka” and are suitable for all skin types, with natural, healthy and safe ingredients.
What is the difference between the stones?
All of our beauty tools have the benefits of sculpting, deflating the face and puffiness, firming the skin, illuminating the complexion, allowing skincare products to penetrate...
According to the lithotherapy, each of the stones has an affinity with your skin type or your needs of the moment, here are our tips for making a choice between our different collections:
💚 Jade : for skin in search of purification, detox, reduction of imperfections.
💖 Rose Quartz : helps to even out the complexion (texture and pigmentation), bring glow and preserve the youthfulness of the skin (prevention and treatment).
💜 Amethyst : for skin in search of comfort, appeasement, balance. It calms inflammation and redness.
What is the difference between jade facial roller and gua sha?
What is lymphatic drainage?
Lymphatic drainage consists, through the action of massage, in draining the lymph. Lymph is a transparent fluid that circulates in the body and which allows waste and toxins present in the body to be evacuated.
Unlike the blood that circulates thanks to the heart, the lymph has none and circulates slowly. Hence the importance of activating and reviving it through massage using the jade facial roller and the gua sha.
In order to stimulate it, the massage must be carried out daily (or at least 4 times a week depending on the needs of your skin). Lymphatic drainage will have many benefits for the skin:
Anti-wrinkle : it allows the oxygenation of the cells which will produce collagen (protein which provides support and structure) for plump skin. We notice a reduction in wrinkles and sagging of the oval of the face.
Illuminates : a dull complexion results from an excess of toxins and cellular oxidation. Lymphatic drainage will allow the elimination of these toxins and dead cells for a natural healthy glow effect.
Firms : due to an accumulation of lymphatic fluid in the face, the massage will decongest and firm up swollen or dark circles.
Anti-imperfections : through a regular lymphatic massage, the skin is purified and rid of toxins. This is ideal for blemished or acne-prone skin.
Can I use two different stones?
There is no contraindication to using two different stones. This can be a very good choice to best meet your needs. So, for example, you can mix our Rose Quartz Roller with the Amethyst Gua Sha without any problem.
What are the short and long term effects?
The Jade Roller and Gua Sha have immediate effects: decongest, penetration of treatments, circulation of blood and lymph. And long-term effects: unification of the complexion, production of collagen, reduction of wrinkles and fine lines.
Depending on the needs of your skin and applying the method we recommend: gestures, frequency, assiduity, you should see results.

My skin reddens after using the tools, is this normal?
Maintain your tools
How do I clean my beauty tools and where should I store them?
After each use, a soft microfiber cloth can be used to clean your tools.
For thorough cleaning, soak the cloth in a bowl of soapy water (water + cleaner) before wiping the tool. You can dry this one with another dry cloth or let it air dry.
You can store them wherever you want. However, being stone tools, they are therefore fragile. We advise you to store them in a dry place where they are not likely to fall. To avoid this, we have developed vegan cases to store and protect them. Also, make sure you have dried them well before placing them somewhere.
Should I purify and recharge my beauty tools?
Concerning lithotherapy, at the energy level, the maintenance must be done according to the sensitivity of each one. There are more or less complex methods. You can use the classic techniques of reloading stones: by light, water, fumigation or geode. Avoid salt which demineralizes the crystals.
How do I purify and recharge my beauty tools?
According to lithotherapy, here are some techniques to do during the full moons to purify and recharge your massage tools:
Water technique :
– Immerse your tools in a bowl of water for 2/3 hours (avoid coarse salt which demineralizes the crystals)
– Rinse them with clear tap water then dry them.
Fumigation technique :
– Pass your tools through the smoke from sage or a stick of Palo Santo in order to purify them.
– When your stones are purified, place them in the light of the moon all night near your window.
– Collect them in the early morning, then rinse your tools with clean water and don't forget to dry them.
My roller broke, what should I do?
Our tools being made of fine stones, they remain relatively fragile. They should therefore be handled with care.
If you have broken your roller, we offer the repair of your tool directly at our workshop for life! Just go to our page: Repair service
Unfortunately, we cannot offer this repair service for the gua sha as they are entirely carved in stone.

What is the jade facial roller ?
The jade facial roller is the name given to a Chinese care tool used for millennia. Perfected over the centuries, this facial massager was designed to have a cooling and soothing effect on the skin.
How to use the jade facial roller ?
Skin preparation: on previously cleansed skin, you can massage your face directly with the jade facial roller to prepare and relax your skin before applying your treatment (serum, oil, cream, etc.). But you can also use the jade facial roller with a treatment to improve the penetration of active ingredients into the skin.
Roller massage: use the large stone for large surfaces (forehead, cheeks, neck, etc.) and the smaller one for delicate areas and hard-to-reach places (eye contour, lip contour, etc.).
- Roll the large roll on stone over the entire face, from the inside out
- Use the small stone on the eye contour with more delicate pressure to eliminate dark circles and puffiness
- Use the small stone around the mouth area
- Finish with the neck and décolleté, making downward movements to promote lymphatic drainage and eliminate toxins.
Tip: For an extra cooling and decongestant effect, the jade facial roller can be stored in the fridge.

How often to use the jade facial roller ?

The gua sha
What is gua sha?
The Gua Sha is a deep massage tool that has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for millennia. Crafted from a fine natural stone, this care tool beautifies the complexion, firms and lifts the features.
How to use gua sha?
Gua Sha is used one to three times a week for natural skin exfoliation or more depending on your needs.
Preparation of the skin: on previously cleansed skin, apply a treatment (balm, oil, cream, etc.) to facilitate the glide of the gua sha and improve the penetration of the active ingredients into the skin.
The massage with the gua sha: for the movements, sculpt with the cool stone from the inside to the outside of the face.
- Start at the forehead, moving from the brow bone to the hairline.
- Continue with the cheeks, making movements from the nose to the ear.
- For the eye area, use the Gua Sha gently from the inner corner of the eye to the temple, applying light pressure as this area is very sensitive.
- Sculpt the cheekbones with upward movements with the hollow of the gua sha following the muscle.
- Continue with the hollow of the gua sha to massage the oval of the face. Start from the chin and go up to the ear. You can finish the movement with small rotations at ear level to relax muscle tension.
- Finally, finish with the neck by performing movements from bottom to top for a lifting effect, then from top to bottom to complete the lymphatic drainage and eliminate toxins.
During and after the massage, it is quite normal that your facial skin may blush. This phenomenon is the result of the activation of the blood circulation, which indicates that you have carried out your massage with the gua sha correctly. However, keep repeated movements relatively gentle to avoid irritating the skin.
Tip: to accentuate the decongestion of the face, first place your gua sha in the refrigerator.

What are the benefits of gua sha?
Perfected over the centuries, Gua Sha has a beautifying and firming effect on the skin. The Gua Sha technique promotes the regeneration of skin cells by stimulating circulation in depth. To complete the care routine, the treatment is combined with a facial massage roller.
How often to use gua sha?
For optimal results, we recommend using gua sha a minimum of 2 to 3 times per week, depending on the sensitivity of your skin. If you feel the need you can use your gua sha daily, there are no contraindications.

Where do your stones come from?
Are these real stones?
All our stones are genuine 100% natural gemstones, not reconstituted, without dyes, without plastics or harmful substances unlike the “serpentine” that can be found in poor quality counterfeits. Read more about how to verify the authenticity of a stone >
💚 Jade Roller / Jade Gua Sha : are made from Indian jade, not to be confused with imperial jade which is the most expensive variety of jade. Its color can vary from water green to emerald green.
💖 Rose Quartz Roller / Rose Quartz Gua Sha : are made from rose quartz. This stone has a color ranging from a pale pink to a deep pink.
💜 Amethyst Roller / Amethyst Gua Sha : are made from amethyst stones. This has a color ranging from transparent light purple to very dark and opaque purple, amethyst obtains its colors thanks to the traces of manganese and iron composing it.
Each stone is unique, so their colors may vary.
What are your guarantees regarding the ethical and social aspect?

Are the treatments certified organic?
All our formulas have been established according to the constraints of the COSMOS Organics standard (our products are therefore certifiable). We have now taken the steps to obtain the label, so it is only a matter of time.
Do they contain endocrine disruptors?
The ingredients used in our products do not contain any endocrine disruptors (estrogens, hormones like, etc.).
Do the treatments contain essential oils?
No, we have chosen not to use essential oils in our treatments, so that they adapt to even the most sensitive skin.
Are they suitable for pregnant women?
Yes, our cosmetics are suitable for pregnant women.
Can the care be put on the eye contour?
Yes, they have been formulated so that they can be applied to the eye contour (just under the lower eyelid and above the upper eyelid, at the level of the arch)
Do the treatments act against wrinkles?
Yes ! We use recognized ingredients and active ingredients that effectively fight against skin aging.
Are the treatments comedogenic?
We have selected non-comedogenic vegetable oils to have treatments adapted to all skin types. In addition, we have excluded animal waxes (such as beeswax) which will also tend to clog pores by replacing them with vegetable waxes which will protect the skin from external aggressions while letting it breathe.
Do the treatments contain perfume?
Yes, for our face care we have created a fresh and light 100% natural fragrance with notes of Green Tea, Maté and Patchouli. Made from a subtle blend of plant essences, it does not contain any allergens or endocrine disruptors (estrogens, hormones like, etc.). Incorporated in low concentration, it is suitable for the most sensitive skin!
